Stanford Amateur Radio Club

Site is located on the west of the two main radio masts operated by the Stanford Amateur Radio Club and is near the Stanford Dish you can see from Highway 280 (map)(photos).

Part of the Bay Area Backbone.

  • Install Cambium backbone dish.
  • Install PTZ Camera.
  • Cable and power all devices.
  • Install solar panels.

Completed Work

November 2025

  • Installed 3 sectors (2 currently operational).
  • Installed wireless-wire connecting tower to Stanford Club building.
  • Assembled communications and solar boxes.
  • Installed communication and power box.
  • Installed solar power box.
  • Pulled cables up the tower to power/communicate with 6 devices.
  • Install Mikrotik hAP ac2 for AREDN tunnel access.
  • Installed UISP Switch for PoE control of devices.
  • Installed Mikrotik hAP ax2 for backbone and extra non-poe ports.
