Network Storms

Network Storms, where data packets would circulate endlessly in a mesh network using all available bandwidth, had plagued the BAM and other networks for some time. An analysis of the problem was presented by KN6GFJ and KN6PLV in 2021.

Solution

A solution to the network storms was implemented in AREDN in October, 2021.
