  1. Open the Settings app.
  2. From the options, select Mail -> Accounts -> Add Account
  3. From the list of accounts, select Other
  4. From the next list, select Add Mail Account
  5. You will see four fields to complete:
    • For Name enter it as you'd prefer it to be displayed, but it should include your callsign.
    • For Email enter the full email address, which will be of for form <callsign>@bam-mail.local.mesh. You must include whole the thing, not just the callsign.
    • For Password enter the password you were given when you signed up.
    • For Description you can leave the default or enter something to help identify this email account later. I used Mesh.
    • Hit Next
  6. A new list will be displayed which requires more detailed information.
    • Leave Name, Email and Description as they appear
    • Under Incoming Mail Server
      • Host Name will read mail.example.com. Replace this with bam-mail.local.mesh
      • For User Name enter your full email address
      • Leave Password as it is
    • Under Outgoing Mail Server
      • Host Name will read smtp.example.com. Replace this with bam-mail.local.mesh
      • For User Name enter your full email address
      • For Password reenter your password
    • Hit Next
  7. The next step can take longer than seems reasonable so be patient. Eventually a dialog will be displayed which reads Cannot Connect Using SSL. Press Yes to continue. This can happen more than once and the wait is extremely long each time. Each time the dialog appears press Yes to continue.
  8. Eventually, the screen will ask you to select Mail and/or Notes. Just select Mail then hit Save.
