Major Discussions Topics
- Facebook
- Facebook MenloPark has a single Omni node, which is poorly connected to the rest of the mesh. Upgrade are desirable, and Isaac can get access, but there's currently no plan in place for what the upgrade will look like. John Swallow was "volunteered" to draft a first cut of a plan (because he's on vacation), but the goal is to have something written that we can evolve into a final form.
- Facebook Burlington might offer an option for a mid-Peninsula link which we badly need.
- Mount Umunhum
- There's an ongoing desire to have a site here, but it's very south of everything we currently have, and a noisy radio environment. Group doesn't want to pursue adding nodes here for the moment.
- SCARES
- Nothing happening with them at the moment.
- Alameda County deployment
- Planning here is a little up in the air as there seem to be many moving parts/groups which need to coordinate. No plan to get people together at the moment.
- Fish Ranch
- Chris and I validated the dish at Fish Ranch is power and linked to San Bruno
- San Bruno
- Tenattive plan with Mathison to visit San Buno in a couple of weeks (weekend of August 6th?) to update and finish install.
- Monthly Update
- Going to write a monthly update to try to improve BAM communications
