• AREDN Firewalling
  • Continued online discussion about lack of LAN firewalling with AREDN and how best to improve it.
  • More complex AREDN increases support burden on AREDN devs
  • Adding additional hardware firewall is flexible, but nothing out of the box will work.
  • No good options identified.
• WinLink
  • Install at ORCA planned for Wednesday
  • How many WinLink server show we have on the network?
    • Chris thinks half a dozen would provide good redundancy
  • Dave is planning to install one at the San Mateo EOC
    • Also looking at Sandstorm.io
• Mt Vaca
  • Various options regarding Mt Vac were discussed.
  • Old Army place seems likes a no go
    • Requires major renovation and lots of money invested just to secure the building.
  • Opened conversations with SacAREDN group who have a site on the north-east side of the ridge
  • Opened conversations with Vaca Valley Radio group who have (possibly) two sites on the west side of the ridge.
  • Looking at way to get form the Valley up to Mt Vaca
    • Mt Diablo seems like a no go at this point with extra mounts on the tower unavailable.
