BAM Weekly Working Group November 7th, 2022

KML
- Chris talked about his ongoing work to generate some useful and pretty KML for an AREDN map.
San Bruno
- Tim brought people up to speed on the install. Major work done last Wednesday with a few last tweaks on Sunday.
- Link is up and fully operational. Speed is similar to the link from San Bruno to Fish Ranch.
Company visits
- Some discussion of Facebook. John is keen to revisit
- Tim needs to follow up with the Pixar radio club for a visit (and maybe site some nodes there?)
- Chris will see if anyone in the Google HAM group has a lead on how we might locate nodes at Google/YouTube
- Dave wants to letter bomb (in the nicest way) companies one we have a few on board to broaded the effort in getting nodes in metropolitan locations.
Chabot
- We've lost the camera password :-(
- Mathison is planning to visit the site (unknown when) to reset things
- Site has limited visibility so expansion there probably not useful
ORCA
- Tim would like to add a new antenna pointing at Wolfback
- Chris would like to replace the "temporary" mounting with a more permanent setup
- They'll work together to make some stuff happen - weather permitting
