Email Config - Apple Mail

1. Open Apple Mail
2. From the menu, select Mail -> Add Account...
3. A popup will show some options. Pick Other Mail Account... and click Continue
4. In the dialog:
   • For Name enter it as you'd prefer it to be displayed, but it should include your callsign.
   • For Email Address enter the full email address, which will be of for form <callsign>@bam-mail.local.mesh. You must include whole the thing, not just the callsign.
   • For Password enter the password you were given when you signed up.
   • Click Sign In to continue.
5. A new dialog will be displayed which requires more detailed information.
   • Email Address should be filled in correctly.
   • Username will be Automatic. Leave this.
   • Password should be filled in correctly.
   • Account Type will read IMAP which is correct.
   • Incoming Mail Server will read mail.example.com. Replace this with bam-mail.local.mesh
   • Outgoing Mail Server will read mail.example.com. Replace this with bam-mail.local.mesh
   • Click Sign In to continue.
6. The next step can take longer than seems reasonable but eventually a dialog will appear warning that your password cannot be sent securely. Ths is because we do not support encryption. Click Continue. This may happen multiple times.
7. Finally, a dialog will ask which apps should use this account. Select just Mail the click Done.
