Site is located on San Bruno Mountain, next to Building 4. It has an open view of San Francisco to the north, and the East Bay to the east (map)(photos)
Site Details
Notes
Dennis has kindly offered up his site to host antennas pointing towards downtown San Francisco, an area with poor coverage. He has also obtained permission from the local managers for us to host antennas inside the secure fenced area.
Plans
An easy option here would be to place a single, 120° antenna which could cover the entire of 280 corridor and San Francisco's south side. Connecting this site to the rest of the mesh is trickier. It cannot see Building 7 (the obvious connection point). However, if we change the radio at Fish Ranch to an LTU unit, we could connect both Building 4 and Building 7 to the same backhaul point.
