- Mathison talked with John Cornell about his network, and proposed changes to improve it.
- Alameda Emergency Services
- Mathison had some feedback on the OES meetings, and coordination with Sacramento OES - nothing actionable at this time
- High Sites
- John is working to fix the salvaged AF24 and looking for a pair. Hopes to put it to good use between some high sites
- Request to look at adding south going Aredn dish at San Bruno
- Tim provide update on Sunol Ridge (still moving along slowly). Hopefully more updates in a week or so.
- AREDN
- Tim provided an update on the current AREDN work and solicited some radios from people (thanks Mathison!) to help test new code
- Free Radios
- We discussed our position on handing out free radios to people. It's generally considered a bad thing to just give them to people as there's little likelihood they'll be use. Better to provide the radio with help with the install. Another option proposed is to provide free radios to upgrade an existing install.
